If you plan to block, you have to stop everything your doing and wait a good 2 seconds and time it perfectly, because the animation isn't accurate.ģ) Players are expected to travel wayyyy far south, past pretty tough enemies, to find Flint and Bark on the Beaches.

Why would you ever upgrade from a wooden sword, unless you plan to carry around the Material for a work bench to repair your weapon after literally EVERY fight.Ģ) Combat is clunky, You swing at an enemy next to you and miss, yet the enemy attacks from 50ft away and hits you. who tested the durability of things and said, "yep a-okay".

is on par with most survival building gamesġ) **Worst Gripe about the game** Durability is a laughable joke, like what even. TLDR: Just feels like they didn't even test their core aspects in the game.Ģ) Building currently. If you want to see my full review of each of the games systems here's a quick video covering them: If you want a complete game and don't want to wait and see if updates occur as planned put it on your wishlist and check in periodically to see how early access has progressed. The game launched with a roadmap for the first major update as well as future content Progression feels good in the early part of the game and requires you to explore further out and take on tougher enemies There's a wide variety of building choices and building matters because items and structures will degrade over time if not under a roof Combat is pretty solid with the only issue being movement can feel a bit floaty More than adequete amount of content for an early access launch

Personally I've grown tired of early access survival games as many of them launch with very little content and ultimately end up taking much longer than initially planned to be completed. I received a copy of the game from the publisher/developer about a week before release. Subscribe to the Smalland subreddit Here.
